Stephanie Denne is a #1 international bestselling author Paranormal Romance and Dark Fantasy for new adults and adults with a focus on mental health and trauma healing. Her debut new adult novel Mark of the Vasirian released in January 2023.

Inspired by art and music, she felt the need to give life to character's that had been rolling around in her mind for 12 years. Never having written anything before, when she sat down and started drafting, she discovered that she had a passion for the craft and the story naturally grew into something much bigger than she could fit into one book—much less five, or even one series!

Born in the United States, Stephanie now calls Ontario, Canada her home.  When not writing, she can be found reading her favorite stories, playing video games with her husband, painting with watercolor, or cuddling with her Golden Retrievers. But not the cat—the cat has her own agenda.

I have always been part of the creative industry. From freelancing as an illustrator, concept artist, graphic designer, wedding invitation designer, watercolor artist, pet portrait artist, and custom content creator for games, to working as a Creative Director for animation outfits and a children's book illustrator, I have spent the last 20+ years in the creative field.

Using that knowledge, and the knowledge gained after commissioning a cover designer for the first handful of books of the Blackthorn Saga, I produced my own covers, starting with Ruinous Secrets. Sanguine Prophecy's full book wrap and extensive edits were also done myself.

My work for covers, website graphics, character art, and promotional content is a mix of illustration, painting, and resources from stock images, 3D renders, and photography.

I do not use Gen-AI in creating my images, nor do I use it in creating my books (writing or narration). I do not support the use of Gen-AI from others in promotion of my books, so anyone who works with me (PA, promoter, my street team, ARC team, artists, etc) are held to an no Gen-AI clause.

I support human artists, writers, voices. I expect the same from those who support me. I want my readers to know when they support me, they are supporting something real.

My community matters to me, so I aim to be open, honest, and respectful of those in that community, so should you have questions, please reach out. I'm happy to speak with you.
